Sterling Silver Ear Pin (#23)

Unique and comfortable, these ear pins are made one at a time. They are extremely lightweight. I rarely make matching pairs. They are meant to be worn as a single ornament in one ear (with a small hoop or stud or some other earring in the other ear – or check out my descending ear wires if you want to pair this with another unique ear ornament in the opposite ear). You could also buy a mismatched pair and wear one ear pin in each ear.

I tend to make ear pins with geometric shapes and “mod” designs.

Ear pins are made from 18 gauge sterling silver. They should be avoided by people with skin sensitivity to silver.

These are worn in a STANDARD PIERCING. The stick goes through the hole then the hook hooks over the top of your ear. The hook can be opened up or closed down to fit. You can wear it more vertically or more at an angle.

If you have a double piercing, an ear pin can be worn in either the upper or lower piercing .

I can include (for free) with your order a small rubber “wire keeper” that slides up the stick from the bottom once the ear pin is in place – this ensures that it won’t be lost from your ear, though I have worn ear pins all day long, all over a city, and have never had them come out. It is possible that the bottom wire could be pushed up, allowing it to unhoo from the top of your ear. A small wire keeper prevents that from happening. I have wire keepers in clear or black.

All ear pins were thoroughly cleaned with rubbing alcohol after being modeled for the photograph.
